I enjoy meandering and dabbling nearly as much as I enjoy the things that keep me steady — exploring and drawing being two prime examples. Most of my life has been spent poking around and admiring the landscapes, creatures, and textures of the American West.
Inevitably, these places are imprinted in my memory and inspire much of my creative work. On a slight deviation from the normal course, I made four collections of line drawings (desert, coast, mountain, forest) and turned these into a coloring book that may or may not be for adults.
This was really fun! Many of the drawings make me laugh. The rules of a coloring book are a bit different — some of these images are cuter than I would normally draw, or nudging at cliche. But the collection, minus one or two, feels authentic to me and how I see the world. Are they fun for coloring? You tell me.

"It's perfect, no coloring required."

Some of the drawings.
My favorite critic chuckled as he looked through it and concluded, "It's perfect. No coloring required!" (Thanks, Dad!) So, even if you don't color, you might like a book of whimsical line drawings depicting vistas, animals, and plants of the Western US. If you do color, check it out and let me know what you think. If you have the time or inclination to write a review, that is apparently the only way to succeed on the billionaire's platform (and you can write a review there without being a verified purchaser... just fyi). Regardless, I had a blast making it and maybe it would be a good gift for your nature-curious friends.
Lulu costs a bit more but the quality is nicer.
